Welcome to John Paul II Catholic School at St. Matthew’s! We are so excited to begin our second year as a parish school.
We are growing not only in faith but in numbers. We started with 57 brave students and have increased to over 80 students. This year we are able to offer seventh and eighth grade classes. Our staff has doubled this year to accommodate our larger classes.
Our new teachers include: Kristen Schrad in Kindergarten, Casie Rashleigh in first grade, Sandra Wells in third grade, Shelley Kochanskyj in fifth grade and Adam Dean in music. We welcome them to the St. Matthew’s community!
This has become a wonderful place where children feel welcome, safe and secure. Students treat each other with respect and celebrate their differences. Students are held to high academic expectations. Everything we do is sprinkled with our faith in God.
Our parents play an integral part in their children’s education at John Paul II Catholic School. We partner with parents in providing the highest academic environment possible for their child to find success. Parents are encouraged to volunteer in a variety of ways.
Please visit John Paul II Catholic School to see what is happening for the children of Gillette. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
In His Service,
Mrs. Lynn Grassel
Principal
