Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2009-2010 School Year! This is the beginning of our third incredible year at John Paul II Catholic School. We have grown from 53 students the first year to about 115 students this year. John Paul II's Preschool continues to expand with over 100 students this year. With our increasing numbers, space becomes an issue. We have remodeled upstairs to make bigger classrooms for the junior high. The unintended consequence is less space for other ministries serving our parish. We continue to work together to make sure that all programs have adequate space. We get pretty creative at times! Our new music teacher, Mrs. Gemar has her office in a previous closet. Amazing what a little yellow paint can do!
Our new staff includes:
Mrs. Farnum: Preschool teacher/aide
Mrs. Obrigewitch: Librarian/Art/Preschool aide
Miss Anderson: Kindergarten
Miss Fulton: Second grade
Ms. Feola: Junior High Lang. Arts and Social Studies
Mrs. Kuhbacher: Junior High Math and Science
Mrs. Gemar: Music
